This song is about being in your first real serious relationship and sort of realizing that you both are growing up and apart and that maybe its time to call things off. The chord progression and the last line of the chorus come from Dammit by Blink 182 (one of my favorite bands). It's my way of honoring a group that had a big influence on how i write my songs.
