If Blink is about maturely accepting the end of a relationship because of changing lives and growing up, Tallahassee is the exact opposite of that, begging to just give things a shot and see what happens. This song has the distinction of having my earliest lyric, "our conversations were poetry without rhythm or rhyme", and my earliest guitar part (the quiet acoustic part right before the final verse) on the EP. I wrote both when I was just 17 years old but never found a use for them until years later. Another shout out to Noelle Linville for working on this track with me.
